Tom Schotte wins 32nd Belgian Championship

Tom Schotte wins 32nd Belgian Championship 6 September 2015

Tom Schotte has conquered his 7th Belgian title in no less than 12 years. In a very exciting tournament, which was a close call until the very last round, he outplayed Marcel Peperkamp on disc count. It was Dimitri Vaes who took the lead and remained undefeated after 5 rounds. Unfortunately he lost against Marcel Peperkamp and Jan de Graaf in round 6 and round 7, which gave him the third place.

Tom Schotte has also won his 8th Belgian Grand Prix, which proves his consistent level of play. The last time another player has won the Belgian Grand Prix was in 2007, when resident player Vladislav Dolezal was the best overall.
