The traditional Easter tournament Othello Open will be held on Easter Monday April 6th 2026 nearby Oudenaarde. More information can be found in the sections below. Questions and remarks can be sent to the organisation.

The Easter tournament is a special event and is generally welcoming many promising and rather unexperienced players. It is the perfect tournament to play for less experienced players.

This tournament is part of the Belgian Grand Prix 2026 and Junior Grand Prix 2026.

Subscriptions

We would appreciate upfront subscriptions. In this way we are sure to foresee a sufficient number of boards and clocks. Of course it remains possible to show up unexpectedly. There are several ways to subscribe:

Concept

7 Swiss rounds (everyone faces opponent with the same amount of wins - as much as possible). The clocks will be set to 15 minutes for every player. We will ensure that promising players have more chance to play together during the tournament.

every player is asked to bring a gift wrapped in paper, worth at least 7,5€
