2025 calendar announced
1 January 2025The official tournament calendar for 2025 has been announced. 2025 promises to be another active year, culminating in the Othello World Championship in Turkey, which will take place sometime in November. Belgian players and residents can qualify for this event through the Belgian Grand Prix, Junior Grand Prix, or the Belgian Championship.
Tournaments are scheduled to take place in Ursel, Diegem, Oudenaarde, Zonhoven, Marche-en-Famenne, and Antwerp. The first tournament will be held in Ursel on Sunday, January 12, and will traditionally feature both an A-tournament and a promising players' tournament.
Additionally, it is possible that a few more standalone tournaments may be added. If you are interested in organizing a local event and need boards and/or clocks, do not hesitate to contact the federation (info@othellobelgium.be). This could be for an introductory session or a full tournament. Locally organized tournaments can, of course, also count towards the official ranking.
