Tom Schotte and Philippe Lemaire share win at Tournai tournament 21 September 2024

Every three years there are huge celebrations in the city of Tournai, in the province Hainaut. In 2021 the event was not held due to Covid. One of the event is the Tournaisiades, a game festival. Philippe Lemaire, a former Belgian Othello player, organises every time the section for mind sports. Also this time Othello made part of this and there even was a little tournament with five players. Locals Philippe Lemaire and Christian Lecocq were present, as well as visitors Tom, Sander and Wout Schotte. Philippe surprised and played a draw against Tom. Both Philippe and Christian will appear in the World Othello Rating list after next update.
