Nick Reunes wins Marche-en-Famenne Othello Open
13 July 2024Nick Reunes wins the 6th Marche-en-Famenne Othello Open. Another garden tournament, but very serious business took place in the garden of Nancy and Dimitri. 12 players gathered, neatly split between 6 advanced players and 6 promising players (of which Pat Rine was our new player). Nick made clean sweep with 7 victories, claiming his 7th tournament victory. Three players finished with 5/7, of which Tom Schotte had the best tie-break. Ralph Reijnders claimed third place, just ahead of Wouter Thijs. Nancy Darck was the best woman, Wout Schotte the best junior (and promising) player.
